1. What is EVA?

EVA is made from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (also known as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), which is produced by copolymerization of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA), abbreviated as EVA. The polymerization method uses high-pressure bulk polymerization, solution polymerization, emulsion polymerization, and suspension polymerization.

2. What is EVA used for?

EVA particles can be produced into various types of EVA sheets, and then the plates can be processed in various ways, such as punching can be used as packaging lining, and hot pressing can be made into soles. Electronics, hardware, toy industries can all use EVA materials and so on.

3. EVA foaming formula

EVA foaming formula is generally composed of the following raw materials: main material, filler, foaming agent, bridging agent, foaming accelerator, lubricant.

2. Why is EVA foam both an "angel" and a "devil" in industrial cushioning and protective packaging?
1. The "angel" side: due to its excellent cushioning, earthquake resistance, heat insulation, moisture resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, etc., and non-toxic and non-absorbent.
To summarize the characteristics of EVA foam material are as follows:
　　a. Water resistance: closed cell structure, no water absorption, moisture-proof, good water resistance.
　　b. Corrosion resistance: resistant to seawater, grease, acid, alkali and other chemicals, antibacterial, non-toxic, tasteless and pollution-free.
　　c. Processability: It is easy to be processed by hot pressing, cutting, gluing, laminating, etc.
　　d. Anti-vibration: high resilience and tension resistance, strong toughness, and good shockproof/cushioning performance.
　　e. Heat preservation: heat insulation, excellent heat insulation, cold protection and low temperature performance, and can withstand severe cold and exposure.
　　f. Sound insulation: closed bubble holes, good sound insulation effect.

In the lining design of industrial protective packaging, many suits often need to be lined with basic functions such as positioning and buffering, and need to have supporting performance, especially the support of upper and lower stacking. Among the many foams, EVA is almost the first choice whenever this is the case
